HOW TO APPLY
How to take a course at the International Centre of Education and get visa support?
- First, select your course in accordance with your level of proficiency and your demands
DOCUMENTS FOR APPLYING. Complete the APPLICATION FORM and send it via mail ffs@agtu.ru or by fax : +7 8182 656100 attaching a photocopy of your secondary school certificate notary authorized (only for those who plan to apply later to the university) and your passport photocopy.
Please read carefully a list of documents required when applying to study at the University. The documents should be brought to Russia.
- On the approval of the documents we will send you an acceptance letter confirming that you are admitted to the Preparatory Department and an invoice letter.
- Pay the fees by the bank transfer (bank details will be indicated on the invoice).
VISA SUPPORT. After receiving payment the University will send you a visa support letter via DHL.
- We recommend you to apply for your invitation letter in advance, because it takes one month to get visa support ready.
- To apply for visa in the Russian Consulate in your country you will need to provide your passport, the admission letter from the university and the visa support letter.
ARRIVAL TO RUSSIA. If you need a transfer service, please send your flight details to ffs@agtu.ru. Our agent will meet you in Moscow or St.Petersburg airport and will assist in taking you to the place of your destination.
DOCUMENTS FOR STUDYING.
You should bring the following documents to the International Educational centre office:
- passport
- visa
- migration card
- secondary school certificate with examination results (original or legally certified copy). The copy should be legalized in your country by the Ministry of Education and the consular service of the Russian embassy.
- translation of the certificate into Russian done by a certified translator.
- medical certificate confirming your health status adequate for studying in Russia
- HIV-test
- 9 photos 4x6 in size

REGISTRATION. You should get a registration mark in your migration card within 3 days after arrival to Arkhangelsk. Registration is compulsory for all foreign citizens. You will have to pay 400 rubles for registration and insurance against accidents making 40$.
CONTRACTS. You should sign a contract for studies and accommodation.
MEDICAL INSURANCE. You should have your medical insurance either for the out-patient department (1000 rubles per year) or for hospitalization (3000 rubles per year).
