RUSSIAN LANGUAGE WITH US
 Preparatory Department was established for foreign students planning to learn the Russian language for their further education, career or those who are interested in the Russian language, Russian culture and traditions.
By choosing us you will learn Russian or improve your Russian language skills and knowledge about Russia irrespective of your proficiency level, age or background . You will join the lively community of people who like and are ready to study, work and help you.
Whether you are a beginner or at an intermediate or advanced level we will help you to choose a suitable course.
 Programme of the preparatory department includes not only the Russian Language Course, but also Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Information Science and some other subjects relevant to your future educational program.
After completing education at the Preparatory Education foreign students take graduation exams and get the Diploma of the First Certificate Level, that provides access to the main degree programmes of the University.

Arkhangelsk State Technical University (ASTU) is the leading and the oldest university in the North of Russia. It was founded in 1929 and has soon gained a national and international acknowledgment for the quality of its programmes and research work.

Arkhangelsk State Technical University invites you to take the Russian Language Course
We offer you:
- individual classes
- classes in mini-groups of 3-5 students
- programs varying from 2-week to 10-month length
We provide you with:
- 4-6 academic hours a day
- certificate on completion of the course
 We guarantee you:
- visa support
- meeting and seeing you off
- accommodation:
a) in the university hostel
b) in the University sanatorium (4 meals a day, health-improving services and sport halls).
 
We can provide exciting and informative cultural programme during your stay in Arkhangelsk:
- a visit to the Museum of Wooden Architecture in the Open Air “Malye Karely” ;
- an excursion to the Monastery in Siya (with a short rest on the banks of Siya lakes);
- an entertaining trip to the caves of Pinezhje;
- an interesting travel to the Solovki islands with excursions on the territory of the monastery, historical monuments of the Archipelago, a trip “Along the blue and green roads of the island”;
